Learning and Study Strategies
Many students use passive study methods, such as reading and re-reading, highlighting everything, or writing out lecture notes word for word. These strategies are not effective at helping students retain information. This section of NOOL will introduce you to some active study strategies that have been proven to help you absorb and recall information.
