Conference abstracts

Ferriera and Patino’s (2018) article—Twelve tips to write an abstract for a conference advice for young and experienced investigators—provides a number of suggestions that could be useful as you prepare to submit your work to a conference for the first time. It discusses topics such as guidelines, titles, writing concisely and abstract content.

Abstracts are used to select conference presenters as well as to attract attendees to presentations, so it is important to write them well.
